Student learner needs vary from child to child. Some students are visual learners, some are auditory learners, and some are kinesthetic learners. Using materials that support the needs of any child provides a better opportunity for student learning. Using iPads for instruction, whether visually, auditorily or kinesthetically, makes learning engaging, interactive and overall fun. Resulting in a higher degree of student achievement.
Providing up to date technology for student use is an investment in the future of our youth. Students will learn independence and higher order thinking skills through the use of advanced technology in an appropriate manner. Technology continues to exceed our highest expectations as educators and therefore, it should be used to support student learning in a positive, productive way. While the iPads can be used for any student, they are especially useful for students who ELL or special needs, based on the ability to integrate various learning style materials with one tool.
