Students will be able to care for their class pet in his new larger habitat. He is outgrowing his home. Our fish George has been with our class for 5 years. He is approximately 7.5-8 inches long. He is currently in a 15 gallon tank. He is very well loved by everyone in the school. Past students stop by often to say hello to him. The hope is George will continue to thrive if he has a larger habitat.
By donating a fish tank, pump, and cover students will be able to care for an animal, learn responsibility, and compassion.
Students will have the ability to experience a little bit of nature in the classroom. Some students do not have the opportunity to have a pet at home. George is a pet to everyone.
