Our school is a Title I school in AZ. My students are in third and fourth grade and come from six feeder schools within our district. I teach a behavior intervention class for students who have been removed from their home school for inappropriate behaviors. I work with students with the help of an instructional assistant on not only academic standards but emotional and behavioral standards as well. Students learn to work independently, use problem solving strategies, and develop team working skills all before exiting our program.
