My students have to work harder than students in other learning environments. I teach at an inner city, Title I, middle school. The majority of my students receive free lunch, and for some, the breakfast and lunch they receive here are the only meals they can truly count on receiving daily.
They want to learn. They want to explore unknown places. They want to live beyond their wildest expectations, and I want that opportunity for them.
Unfortunately, if I want my students to have access to certain resources, I have to purchase them myself, or find a way to make it happen.
