As a high needs Title One school, many of my third grade students come from impoverished neighborhoods. My students are eager to learn, but they need the resources to help them to go that extra step. Having modern technology in the classroom, technology they do not have at home, will not only keep them up to date but will also allow for more in depth learning, sharing, and discussions. Using applications and websites built for use in the classroom, I will be able to share information more readily, not only with the students, but also with their parents to help them become more involved.
