We are so grateful to be a classroom where we are one-to-one with technology. This means that every child has access to their own iPad to use while in my classroom. These headphones will be used during times that students are working on their individual iPads. Students use their iPads in a variety of activities and subject areas, including literacy and math centers. While we love the use of technology in the classroom and the exposure and differentiation that it allows, these tiny pieces of technology make a lot of noise and can become very distracting. Having access to headphones will allow the other students who are not currently working with technology to stay focused on their current tasks. These will overall help to create an environment with less distractions that is more conducive for learning altogether.

About my class
