Having Chromebooks in our classroom will help my students develop their research and writing skills. My goal is to create 21st century learners that can collaborate on shared projects, communicate with tools like email, and investigate new information. They will research beyond textbooks. They will be able to take virtual field trips to places they've only dreamed about. They will be able to communicate with other classes and experts to gain new knowledge. They will learn how to use a word processor to generate ideas and capture their thoughts in a way that is relevant to jobs today. We will also use the Chromebooks for STEM. The students will learn how to write computer code, program LEGO and VEX robots, and participate in other engineering projects.
