I chose this collection of books because they cover all the new NGSS (Next Generation Science Standard) topics in an engaging and colorful way. I hope to encourage them to read with these fun, fact filled, books with amazing images. Creating this library will allow students to learn more about the world around them and encourage them to find their own answers to Life's mysteries. Many of the books selected in this set are at varying reading levels to meet the needs of all of my students; new English Speakers, students with Reading difficulties and my Gifted and Talented population. I have also designed a unique flexible seating corner where students can enjoy the books in a cozy atmosphere with beanbags and a rug.
