Our students often only have access to guided reading leveled books. These books are great for reading instruction but at times are not engaging for the students. We are hoping to add a variety of very appealing and engaging fictional books to our selection in hopes to inspire our students and instill a love of reading. We have selected a variety of books (a special focus on thrilling graphic novels) that will be sure to keep students wanting to come back for more. Our goal is to get books in hands that will not only continue to help students advance their skills as a reader, but will also instill a lifelong love and appreciation for literacy! These books will not only be used in a school setting. Students will also be allowed to check these books out and take them home so they continue reading and fostering their love of reading with their family at home.
