My students love to read and learn. I teach math and science to a wonderful group of third graders. My class blocks with another teacher who teach Social Studies and ELA. We serve around 43 students together. They love to be hands on and in charge of their learning. We are working on building our rigger in preparation for the End of Grade test. They love to read and use any free time after finishing their work getting their hand on any book in my classroom library. Our school is a Title-One school where more than 80% of students receive free or reduced lunch. We have low parent involvement and most students have difficulty getting their homework turned in. We try to make school a second home and create a warm and welcome environment to enrich their learning.
