This is our second week of full day in-person instruction! Our handheld pencil sharpeners don't work that well. OH, MY. We need an electric pencil sharpener to help students with their writing. We also want to to display more artwork and so we need a paper cutter in the classroom that will cut colorful card stock that will back their artwork, so it can really shine.
Our room consists of 26 growing bodies eager to talk with friends, use paper to learn, write with a sharp pencils, display our talents, have recess, learn to smile through their mask, and have fun!
One thing I did not anticipate this year was how quickly students would go through pencils. Our previous system of sharpening pencils at our school has changed and our hand held pencil sharpeners are just not working great or the non-handheld ones eat up half their pencil.
Help me give my students an electric pencil sharpener that will sharpen their pencils efficiently, so less time is wasted and more time is spent learning and writing. Help me display my students' artwork by providing our class with a paper cutter that will allow me to cut color construction paper in the classroom!
