I have 26 of these amazing six and seven year olds that are sponges, eagerly soaking up all I can share during our school day. Our school is a Title I school in Southern California. 82% of students are receiving free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch, and many are English Language Learners. Our campus is ethnically diverse, and students are working hard to overcome poverty and become fluent in the English language.
