My school is located in Cadott, Wisconsin. Cadott is located exactly half-way between the equator in the North Pole and has a population of 1,500 people. We live in a farming community filled with open spaces, wooded areas, and lots of farms. Our elementary school is a 4K-6th grade building. We are a Title 1 school with about 50% free and reduced lunch. I have 20 boys and girls in my 2nd-grade classroom. The students come from diverse backgrounds, home experiences, and environments. There are varying levels of academic development and varying levels of social & emotional development. However, they all share the same drive to learn new things and be good people.
