Try to remember being a student back in middle school and working in a chair attached to a desk. Now try imagining being a student who feels the need to constantly move, trapped in that desk for 45 minutes, being asked to also complete their assignments. I chose the adjustable leg activity table, the wobble stools and stability ball chairs for my students as extra seating options to help them focus better on their personal assignments.
This type of seating would specifically allow students that have extra movement issues, the space and the ability to do so without disrupting their peers or lesson during instruction. This set up would also allow for small group instruction with ease of movement in both my Language Arts and Mathematics classes.
