I teach a diverse group of first and second graders in a public city school system but on the charter side. We are the largest charter school in the city and one of the most popular. With larger class sizes (26) it can be difficult to meet the differentiated needs of 2 grade levels without the implementation of centers. My students come from a variety of neighborhoods of Buffalo. They come to school excited to learn every day. About half of the students do not have access to current technology at home.
