With funding for classroom calculators, students will not only be able to check their success within completion of math problems during class, but they will also be able to learn how to complete real-world problems using a calculator.
Learning to use a calculator will better assist students in solving problems they may encounter in everyday life outside the classroom.
Students will take classroom lessons and apply it to areas in their lives such as budgeting for spending, interest rates, and more. Students will become more invested knowing the real life application of math content learned within the classroom.
