I am an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher at a Title I school in Brandon, Florida. Our school has a high number of Hispanic students, along with many students that receive free and reduced lunch. The 22 4th graders I will be teaching reading and writing to next year come from a variety of backgrounds and each has different learning needs and abilities.
My classroom is a safe, fun learning environment that my students look forward to coming to each day to learn, but also to build relationships and life skills along the way. I strive to make my classroom as inviting and conducive to student success as possible.
