With a class of over 20 first-grade students all required to sit while listening to their lessons, there was no doubt that there would be a few students who would have a difficult time sitting still. From asking some students what would help, there response is the ability to move around. When finding out about the different options, the Hokki stools were the number one choice. They will be perfect for my students who need to move around and will be a wonderful addition to those students who need to fidget while in class. We feel this would increase learning for our students.
With the addition of Hokki stools, there will be an increase in activity and movement for well over 60 minutes. Being active keeps a person healthy and happy which is what we want for all of our students. Being able to concentrate in class because they are able to move while sitting on the Hokki chairs will create students who are learning and that is success.
