Kindergarteners learn best when being able to play or manipulate objects. I'm creating 2 set of individual mesh bags for each child in my class. This will allow them to have hands on experiences with 1:1 correspondence, counting, creating groups, sorting, learning their shapes (2D and 3D), and various other math concepts.
The legos will allow my kindergarteners the ability to use their creativity to build and problem solve. However, with the pandemic and needing to provide children with their own set of manipulative and objects to engage with at their desk.
