Using flexible seating will greatly enhance teaching and learning in my classroom. Being able to use choice will improve maturity and cooperative learning. Those students who struggle with ADD, ADHD, vision/hearing problems and so on will benefit because they will soon learn which seating helps them the most. Flexible seating will also help my students prepare for the real world which is full of choices, where they will be responsible for their own learning, thinking, and decision making, "Brain research also confirms that physical activity – moving, stretching, and walking – can actually enhance the learning process.
