My students are very diverse. I have a few middle income students mixed with students who are living below the poverty line. Most of the families rely on the school to provide their children with school supplies but unfortunately the budgets have been so slashed that the school can only provide us with one pencil per student to start the year. We occasionally get donations from parents but those are few and far between.
