Having chair pockets for my deserving Kinders will foster independence in my students. It is so important, from such a young age, to help them learn how to be independent. Showing independence, as such young students, will help them grow into learners for life.
Fostering responsibility in my students with these chair pockets will help them to feel like they have something of their own and create a sense of pride in their materials and their work.
They will be able to appreciate and take care of their own materials. Having chair pockets for every student will help them see the importance of taking care of their own materials.
My students need to have these chair pockets to also have a place to put their materials while they are not using them so they have table space to work on other activities. Chair pockets in our room will make a huge difference for everyone and create learning experiences for my students.
