I am the librarian at a small (approx. 490 students) public elementary magnet school. Students in K-5th grades visit the library weekly for story time, research, technology skills lessons, and book checkouts. We do not receive any Title I funds, so I am very limited in the amount of technology I can offer my students to prepare them for 21st century learning (we have approx. 20 dated desktop PCs). Our library collection is dated and doesn't currently reflect the diverse learners on our campus. My students LOVE to read and discover, and they especially enjoy hands-on, collaborative activities. My goal is for the library to be a welcoming, fun, and challenging learning environment for all my students, regardless of ability level or background. Thank you in advance for your support of our school! #BulldogsLoveBooks
