My kindergarten students love to learn how to code using computers. I recently learned about Bee-Bots, and I think they would be a great way for my students to learn how to code hands on.
Besides coding, we will use Bee-bots to help us in both math and language arts. Students will be able to collaborate and use their critical thinking skills to solve problems with the Bee-Bots. For example, my students can work in groups to have the Bee-Bot find a certain letter while counting the number of moves it will need to make in each direction. They can even help us with sequencing, which will lead to story telling and writing. The ways to connect using the Bee-Bots in our classroom to help us learn are endless!
