I strive to create a student center learning environment in my classroom, which is self-directed, creative and innovative. Items I request from Donors Choose allow me to create a relaxed and fun way to instruct my students. When I am able to provide an innovative and engaging environment, my preschool students will gain confidence and increase their motivation to engage in learning. Hands-on learning items enable me to adapt my teaching methods to meet the learning styles of all students. My goal is to increase educational output, but decrease unwanted behaviors for learning and ultimately have a positive effect on self-esteem and behaviors. I work hard to create lessons that will benefit my students with autism to prompt independence, expand communication, and increase social interactions.
