This project consists of powerful books that feature stories, characters, and themes around kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. I want to instill a love of reading with my students while helping them develop an understanding of the unique and different experiences of others. Learning about others is the key to developing acceptance and empathy. It is important for my students to see themselves and their families in books, but it is also essential for my students to explore the diversity of our world. This collection of books highlight the importance of kindness and allow my students to open their minds to new and different viewpoints.

About my class
