With flexible seating arrangement students will be able to focus more clearly as well as work in groups. Group work will increase comprehension of knowledge and allow for students to build strong positive relationships among each other. Students will gain confidence as well as strive to meet goals and accomplish successful completion of reading and writing. After group work activities students will gain ability to complete tasks independently. Allowing a free flow of seating options will allow for creativity to take blossom. In my classroom students strive to be distinguished in reading. They begin with an individualized goal and work to succeed in meeting that goal. I have found in the past that students excel in reading when given the opportunity of seating arrangements and finding comfort. Not only will flexible seating increase focus, build positive relationships, and allow for creativity, it will also give students a nice environment that they may not have a chance to enjoy otherwise.
