Hello, my name is Mrs. Pelton- Sam. Teaching kids is one of my passions. My students come from low-income families, but when they enter the class they leave the scene of poverty for a few hours, and enter a classroom that is bright, with a creative atmosphere where learning is always fun. I am not just any teacher, and these are not your ordinary students. I am a teacher that that helps students dream and capture a vision for their future. In our class I let the students explore STEM, Literary works, create works of art through through making special projects, integrate crafts with lessons, and graphic/ digital art design. I also teach them that there are so many careers to choose from, just explore learning, have fun, find out what you are good at, at your core and do your very best. My students are the greatest and they inspire me to be the best teacher that I can be.
