Distance Learning is not exactly how I wanted to officially begin my teaching career, but here we are. Knowing that I have to adapt and think outside the box, I came up with the idea of Distance Learning in a Box! Part of what makes remote learning so difficult for many of my students in the lack of supplies and organizational space designated for school. I'd like to create a box that allows my students to stay organized and have the necessary tools and supplies (notebook, pencils, glue stick, crayons, erasers, markers, etc.) to fully engage in the distance learning experience. In addition, these boxes will build morale in our virtual classroom and give the students a sense of confidence going into the new school year.
