My new classroom of 23 students is part of a school that serves close to 100% of its student population with the free and reduced-price lunch program. Our Title I school is populated with about 490 students of different cultural backgrounds, racial identities, and ethnic backgrounds. My class consists of students who identify themselves as Black, Latino (Latinx), Asian, and Bi-racial.My new classroom of 22 students is part of a school that serves close to 100% of its student population with the free and reduced-price lunch program.
