Our school is located in Wayne County near Huntington, West Virginia, home of Marshall University. The staff of forty-one services approximately 400 preschool through fifth grade students who will go on to middle school. Our students are primarily students of low socioeconomic status. We are temporarily housed in modular trailers on our high school's football field due to a sink hole in our old school. This, however, has not stopped us from being a school of excellence!
We strive to cultivate each and every student's strength through a comprehensive curriculum and to encourage each student to think creatively, care deeply, and act wisely. Our staff and administration are dedicated to sharing the responsibility of modeling and teaching essential academic and life skills through teamwork with both students and their families.
