My classroom includes 29 4th graders with mixed abilities. We spend lots of time working in collaborative groups, doing hands-on activities, and having fun while learning. Most of my students come from low-income families and crave the structure that school provides them. Many of my students are struggling learners, but they try so hard to succeed every day! My classroom is a safe space for learning, where students feel comfortable sharing with others and are not afraid to be themselves!
