We, the teachers and support staff, are working hard to acknowledge student success. Our students come from a community with resource scarcity. We are working hard to align student behavior with our school values of accountability, safety and kindness. Our students respond to material acknowledgment of their successes. We are looking for an array of culturally responsive items that excite our students and encourage them to be successful at school. Trauma informed research supports rewarding positive behavior. We hope to use our token economy, trauma informed practices and the student store to inspire our students' positive behavior building wide.
