The health and safety of my students is a top priority as we return to face-to-face instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. In our 1st grade classroom, our students have tables and not individual desks, and individual storage for supplies is very limited. While tables encourage collaboration and conversation amongst students, this school year will definitely be different with this being limited as well. My goal with the chair pockets is to give my students their own space to store their folders and supplies! This will limit the need for community storage, and it will hopefully decrease the spread of germs on supplies in our classroom.
