My project is designed to foster social, emotional, and academic growth amongst my students. The books within my project will allow students to hear stories about characters out in similar situations that they find themselves in at times. I am excited to start teaching "Growth Mindset" lessons to my students this year. The "Be Where Your Feet Are" book is a perfect book to introduce mindfulness to students at this age level. The DVDs will show students scenarios of non-fictional events and how to correctly respond when in tough situations. These resources will help me do the best job I can in supporting my students and helping to meet their needs.
