My classroom is filled with cultural diversity. There are multiple home languages spoken and varied learning levels. My students are incredibly verbal students who love learning and sharing information. Our parents are often graduate students at a nearby university. At my school, teachers believe in project-based learning, resulting in a passion for learning. Hands-on learning assists the students in gaining a deeper understanding of the material. Also, project-based learning provides my students with independence to complete tasks on their own, while staying focused on the assigned task, and teaches them how to organize their projects and materials.
