This is not a project per say- but an enhancement to my classroom library and small group reading instruction. My students are just beginning to really enjoy reading, and I want to give them more resource and comfy spaces to grow as learners. Getting additional reading materials, flexible seating will help my students during center time. We do a lot of moving around the classroom but also spend a great deal of time engaging in quiet reading. Right now I have some books and 2 places for flexible seating, but it isn't enough. I would love to give my kiddos variety and choice. Teachers Pay Teachers is a very valuable resource in my class. My students need a variety of leveled texts, and articles to use to support reading fluency and comprehension. This site has a large selection of appropriate texts with connected skills to help them in small group and whole class instruction.
