Students will be able to create LEGO robotics and complete various challenges within small groups while developing engineering skills that follow NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).
Through our engineering phases throughout the year students will work in small groups to understand the design process, build basic designs, follow LEGO engineering challenges, and learn to code.
With the new Next Generation Science Standards there is a strong focus on engineering. The LEGO Robotics allow students to be able to design an experiment, redesign an experiment when the first attempt doesn’t work, see solutions and how to get to those solutions; all the while developing communication skills necessary to collaborate with peers.
