My students are fabulous students in a rural Appalachian Ohio community. Our school is a Middle School that hosts 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Our district is a Title I district, as more than 60% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. My students are very creative, motivated, and highly enthusiastic. We are a very diverse community. We have students who are from families of farmers, suburban families, children who live in foster homes and group homes, many students who attend from outside the district, and children who are from economically challenged areas and struggling neighborhoods within our close knit community. What all my students have in common is their desire for success and a great pride in their school and community. My students are proud hard-working individuals who all aim to make our district and our world a better place!
