The majority of my students enter Kindergarten knowing less than 10 letters and some of them knowing 0. Mastering letter names and sounds is a critical reading foundational skill that my students need to have in order to be able to read at grade level by the end of the year. Through Letters Alive, my students will get to experience letters, sounds, and sight words through advanced 3D technology known as augmented reality! Students will be able to see, hear, touch, build, and speak while learning through this positive and engaging experience that will also increase their proficiency and retention of letters and sounds. As each letter and sound is introduced, students will also get to see each letter come alive through this technology program! Students will be making connections between the letters and their animal representations, which also ties into Science. The program allows students to see a 3D image of the animal and letter, hear the name of each letter, and also hear the sounds of the animals and letters. As students learn sight words, they can build sentences using the word and letter cards to create stories that come alive!
