This project includes 60 books- 10 of each of 6 titles. With a set of 10 books for each title, we can conduct book clubs and have literature circles with small groups of students. Book clubs are a great way for my students to work together to develop ideas, delve deeper into the characters, and examine plot development. Some students aren't yet ready for typical chapter books so they need titles that are designed for children that are helped by visual cues, lower reading level, and less text per page.
All students should have access to books at their reading level that are engaging and exciting. This collection of books will meet reading level needs of general education and special education students and offer titles in multiple genres to help them explore all kinds of literature.
