I teach in a small town that is a close-knit community. Our school has high expectations for our students. We believe they can be high-achieving students and we do everything we can at school to get them to those levels. The students in my class treat each other like family. We all try to build each other up every day. My students work together to ensure that everyone feels successful. They congratulate each other on jobs well done and they show concern and compassion when someone is having a tough time.
