I teach at a Title 1 school and my students come from all different backgrounds. During their kindergarten year, COVID caused all schools to close down and go virtual. Then, their 1st grade year had so many uncertainties which resulted in most still staying home. This greatly impacted not only my students but students all over the nation and I am finding that my children are struggling sitting in one spot comfortably to accomplish their tasks. I have seen the benefits of flexible seating in other classrooms prior to COVID and I am so excited about this project and the hope that my students will enjoy the classroom more with the requested wobble chairs, cushions, and floor seats!
