Hi there! This is my first Donors Choose! I have heard so many teachers in their successes in getting supplies for their amazing cherubs.. so; Im going to give it a shot!
I have worked for a title one school for 6 years now. I never realized how much money I spent on my kiddos and my classrooms until I actually sat down to total it up... its scary!
I know every teacher reading this can relate. But if it means your students have pencils, nice markers, classroom supplies that help them learn, its worth it.
Several of our schools have technology. Some do not. My school is one of those. I hear of all of these amazing things happening in classes with computers... and I feel uninspired when leaving training's, knowing if I don't do something, my students wont have the same opportunity as other students.
I want to help level the playing field. But I guess, I need some help.
