We mainly train them to achieve specific learning skills in which to help them keep up with children in General Education. They are 3-5 year old with disabilities. We work with them to gain attending skills, social skills, functional skills and communication which are basically itemized in their IEP's (Individual Education Plan). Our goal for each of them is to mainstream (general education class) them by the time they exit our program by the time they turn 6 years old. Our school is a Title 1 campus and the population are identified to be 96% economically disadvantaged. My students and my PALS team would appreciate everyone your help and support our classroom needs.
