In the Art Room it is important for students to see a new technique or demonstration of material usage in order to maximize their understanding of the concept. Oftentimes I'll call my students around a table and demonstrate the process. While this age old method is largely effective, it is not without its challenges. A class can face obstructed or unclear views, lack of available space, or distractions.
It would benefit my students to see up close, high quality visuals from the comfort of their seats pairing the document camera with my Smartboard. Additionally, the camera would have the capability to record demonstrations for later review or further clarification through repeated review as needed.
