Certain science concepts can be tough for young minds to grasp. Merge Cubes are a fun and interactive tool that allows students to get hands-on with STEM. Merge Cubes bring learning to life through the use of Virtual Reality (VR). For example, students are captivated by seeing the solar system, dinosaur fossils, or the human heart in their hands. With VR and the Merge Cube, students can go places that they could never have gone before. Through this project, I would have enough Merge Cubes to ensure that students have the opportunity to learn and explore in a small group setting, such as a guided center.
While Merge Cubes allows students a chance to explore "The Great Beyond," fidget bands help students with special needs remain productive from their chairs. Fidget bands are a tool to aid students with special needs. In my room, we recognize that some of us need accommodations in order to be successful. For some, the chance to move without being a distraction to their peers can unlock limitless potential. Fidget bands are an easy way to help these students. Fidget bands stretch across the legs of students' chairs, and they allow students to bounce their feet and legs while remaining engaged in their learning.
