Every class has some students with a bit of extra energy.
With six wobble stools my students will benefit two-fold.
First, wobble stools are a valuable resource during full class instruction to allow students to move during lessons. This will allow my more energetic kids to move without distracting the students around them. These seating opportunities have been shown to be especially helpful for students with ADHD and ASD.
Second, small group work opportunities allow for students who get distracted in larger settings to collaborate and focus while those who need extra teacher attention can work with me at our group work table. These wobble stools will be perfect for the group work table when we break into groups and then return to individual desks when we do full class instruction.
