Students participate in Daily 5 Reading stations. This program is designed to develop literacy independence in students. One of the necessary stations of the program is Listen to Read. These wireless headphones and transmitter will provide students with the opportunity to listen to books read aloud from a variety of online resources.
It is proven that students develop better reading habits as they listen to others read fluently. Students will use the equipment daily as they build better reading skills. Students can use this equipment during centers, which allows me to work with small groups without the disruption from students that are participating in listen to read without these wireless headphones.
