As a new kindergarten teacher, my classroom needs many things to get my students excited about entering the classroom. For many of my students, it will be the first time they enter a classroom, and I would like to give them a great first experience. This year there will be many firsts for my students and me. We will be learning and growing together. All of the things on my list will make learning and growing together much more possible.
Many of the items on my list are for centers, the classroom library, and things to keep my classroom organized. Students will use the books to spark their joy in reading. The "toys" will help my students during ELA centers. It will allow them to practice their letter sounds, sight words, and fluency. I have already purchased many items on my own, so this would be a really big help! Please help me make my first year as a teacher run smoothly.
